A Spring in your step

At long last Spring has definitely arrived, with lambs in the fields, daffodils in full bloom and the weather has finally improved!  The fells are all drying out after the wet winter we’ve had, and the two opposite us (Sale Fell and Ling Fell) are nice and dry now – both are a very worthwhile 1-2 hour walk with great views from the top.

We’ve been busy getting everything sorted around the hotel, tidying up outside, pruning the trees and taking delivery of our new tables out on the decking.  It was fantastic to see them in use yesterday with glorious sunshine for Mothers Day.  Here’s hoping for a nice sunny few weeks…
