It’s been hard work getting ready for our first Christmas at the hotel, and quite nerve wracking as I kept thinking that we had forgotten something… Fortunately it all went smoothly with plenty of food for everyone – our trio of smoked salmon and the champagne sorbet were big hits!

Fortunately the torrential rains stopped and the sun came out for the day, making it all the more special. We’ve had some delightful guests staying and various of our regular locals popped in for a drink making it a lovely relaxed day. Some guests enjoyed a walk in the sunshine, others had fun in the pool, others ate, drank and were merry 🙂
