Each contemporary room/apartment features an en suite bathroom and most have stunning fell views across the valley. All rooms offer high quality 100% Egyptian cotton linen and large, soft towels and are serviced daily. Free Wifi, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, Hair Dryer and Iron are also provided. A laundry service is available.

All rates include a hearty Cumbrian breakfast to set you up for a day exploring the wonderful lakes and mountains.

We can accommodate a cot or an extra bed for children in most of our rooms. Many of our rooms also accept dogs. Please inform us when you booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Disabled Access

We regret that none of our bedrooms are suitable for wheelchair access.  Many of our rooms and apartments are on the 1st and 2nd floors of the hotel.

For guests with limited mobility, two of our apartments (Whinlatter and Skiddaw) are on the ground floor, with 6 steps up to reach them.

Our 1st floor ensuite rooms have walk in showers and are accessed via a wide staircase with handrails.
The bar and restaurant are wheelchair accessible with a ramp into the restaurant from the carpark.
