If you are looking for a hotel in the Lake District with year round leisure facilities, Embleton Spa Hotel could be the perfect place for you. With free access for guests during your stay as well as memberships for non-residents, the indoor swimming pool, steam room and gym facilities at the hotel offer something for everyone.
As a guest, you can enjoy temporary membership of the leisure club during your stay. There is a 14m indoor swimming pool, steam room and fully equipped gymnasium.
Enjoy a dip in the pool, or have a more vigorous work out in the new gym before relaxing in the lounge with a well-earned drink from the bar afterwards! The gym is on two floors with a mixture of resistance machines and cardiovascular including treadmills, rowers, cross trainers, recumbent and upright cycles.
The pool and gym are operated by Sportstrek Coaching Ltd who offer memberships for the pool and gym. To ensure you get the most out of your membership Sportstrek provide fitness testing and prescribed training programs to all new members. The pool, steam room and hot tub operate on a timetable, as it is used at certain times of the day for classes and lessons. Members and hotel guests are welcome to use the pool during all the Member/Hotel guest times shown on the timetable, as well as Saturday evenings.
We work with the fabulous local therapists to provide treatments here at the hotel. They offer a variety of massages and treatments to suit everyone, from post-walk massages to relaxing full body treatments. To see our range of treatments, see Treatments.
We usually require 48 hours notice to arrange treatments, so we recommend booking in advance. We can also sometimes arrange treatments for the same day, please ask and we will endeavour to arrange it.
